The error code 30088-4 appears when there is a problem with your Microsoft Office installation package. However, there are several ways you can do to troubleshoot and resolve the issue on PC. Check out the different methods below and follow each step to help you fix the error on Windows 10.

Method #1 – Perform a System Restore on PC

  • On the Search box, enter System Restore.
  • Select System Restore Point.
  • Select Choose a different restore point toggle.
  • Click Next.
  • Look for the Show more restore points box and check it.
  • On the list, look for the system restore point with the date before your Windows update.
  • Click the entry.
  • Click Next.
  • Click Finish.

Method #2 – Run Microsoft Office Quick Repair

  • Install the application.
