Method #1 – Check Your WiFi Internet Connection Speed
Perform a speed test to know the strength of your WiFi Internet connection. Try improving your network signal by elevating your router or placing it close to your Roku TV or streaming device. You may also try to bypass the router and connect your TV directly to your modem. If your Internet speed is weak, contact your provider.
Method #2 – Power Cycle Your Device
Power cycling your device will help refresh your Internet connection.
- Turn off your Roku TV.
- Unplug both your router and modem.
- Wait for at least one minute.
- Now, plug back in your router and modem.
- Once connected to the Internet, turn on your Roku TV or Roku streamer and try again.

Method #3 – Reset Network Settings
- Open the Settings menu of your Roku TV or Roku streaming player.
- Select System and go to System Restart.
- Click Network Connection Reset.
- Reset your network. Your Roku TV will reboot.
- After restarting, navigate to the Settings menu.
- Select Network Option and go to WiFi.
- Click your WiFi connection and set it as Home Network Option.

- Enter your WiFi password.
Method #4 – Clear Roku Cache
- To do this step, you will need to go back to the Home screen of your Roku TV or Roku streaming device. Follow the steps below using your Roku remote.
- Press the Home button five times.
- Up button once.
- Rewind button two times.
- Fast Forward button two times.
- Wait for the process of clearing the cache to finish. After 30 seconds, it will restart your Roku TV.
