What was out of reach to all Google users may soon be available thanks to Google’s expansion of its dark web report monitoring feature to every signed in user. Such a feature was only limited to Google One subscribers. Now, anyone with a Google account can enjoy the added security.
Google One users have the privilege of utilizing the monitoring service as they are paying a monthly subscription. However, Google is now sending a notification to Google One subscribers that the membership will no longer be a requirement to use the report as it is made available free to all users signing into their Google account.

Google’s dark web monitoring report allows you to track your personal information on sites not indexed by search engines or those seen only on specialized browsers. These are considered part of the dark web. The service will show you if your information have been leaked online. It will enable you to take necessary courses of action to secure your personal data, including password, emails, phone numbers and other important info.
Google users still have the option to remove their profile from the dark web monitoring report dashboard if they do not want to join in the process.
In addition to the dark web monitoring report, Google also launches the Results about you feature, where you can find your personal information on Google. You then have the option to remove these results.
