Not wanting to show to random people your email address is understandable. You want to preserve your privacy and your email address is already part of your identity. However, you will need to use your email address when signing in to websites or apps. What can you do then to maintain a secured process?
Apple introduced the Hide My Email feature. By utilizing this tool, a unique email address will be made for you and act as a secured communication means between your real email address and the websites or apps that you want to sign into. Each website will have its different email address, which all lead to your private email. You can read and respond directly to the messages without any need to sign in to each address, but they will be in the forefront.

Now, not everyone wants to permanently use a feature no matter the efficiency. There’s too many private emails already generated. You can view and manage them under the Hide My Email section in the Settings. There is also the inactivity of some of the addresses. Regardless of what your intention is, you always have the option to Delete or Deactivate your Apple Hide My Email address.
Steps to Stop Using and Delete a Hide My Email Address on Mac or iPhone

The steps are quite simple and similar to how you want to manage them. To manage these email addresses, navigate to the Settings of your Apple device and go to iCloud. Open the Hide My Email section and locate the Forward To menu. You will then see all the email addresses that you are using as a Hide My Email address.
To deactivate an email address, select the ones that you want to stop using and click or tap Deactivate email address. Just follow the next set of instructions on your screen.
What if you want to delete an email address under the Hide My Email feature? First, deactivate the said address. You cannot delete an active address. After deactivating it, look for it under the inactive email addresses. Tap or click the Delete option and follow the instructions.
Note that once you deleted an email address, you can reactivate it. It will be permanently removed.
Wrapping Up
Apple gives its users the prerogative to use or not use a feature they offer. It is always up to you if these tools are worth your while or not.
