Doing a presentation via Zoom can be more flexible and productive if you can share your screen. You become in control of what you want to present and make your meeting more interactive.

Not all typical solutions may work on troubleshooting an issue. But, following these methods may at least help you try fixing the iPhone screen sharing error on Zoom for Mac.

Clear the Zoom App Cache

Navigate to the menu bar of your Zoom app and select Zoom Workplace. Select Settings. Along the sidebar, choose Zoom apps. Go to the Zoom Apps local app data & cookies and click the Clear button.

Clear out your Mac Storage

First, you need to find out if you have enough storage space left on your Mac. Click the Apple menu and head over to System Settings. In the sidebar, select General. Click Storage and check the info. If you have nearly exhausted your storage space, you can delete some of your unnecessary files. Check your downloads folder and remove files that you no longer need. Reevaluate your media library. Make sure to empty your trash after.

After clearing your Mac storage, reboot your device and verify if the issue persists.

Enable Sharing All Windows from an Application

Navigate to Preferences settings on Zoom. Head over to Share Screen and look for the option Share all windows from an application. Enable it and check the issue again.

Update your Zoom App

On your Zoom app, click your profile picture. Scroll down and select Check for Updates. Wait for Zoom to install the updates and reboot the app.

To do this, open System Settings on your Mac and head over to Privacy & Security. Navigate top Accessibility. Look for Zoom and toggle it to Enable.
