Microsoft gives its users a reliable storage platform called OneDrive with a free amount of space for up to 5 GB. You can also increase your storage spaces. It is easy to organize and convenient to store files.

- Once open, copy and paste %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe to open the OneDrive setup. Click OK.
- Sign in your account details.
- Look for the OneDrive icon in the taskbar and right click on it to open a drop down menu. Click on Settings.
- Under the Settings tab, look for the Start OneDrive automatically when I sign in to Windows and check it. Click OK to save your changes.
2 – Reinstall Your OneDrive

- Go to Start and right click. Choose Run to open the Run dialog box. You can also press Windows+R simultaneously.
- Next, type appwiz.cpl and click OK.
- Among the list, look for Microsoft OneDrive. Right click on the folder and choose uninstall. This will automatically remove OneDrive.
- Reboot your computer to apply the changes.
- After restarting your computer, go to the official website of OneDrive and download.
- Once finished, follow the instructions on how to install the software in your computer.
- Check if the backup tab is now available.
3 – Modify Through Registry Editor

- Press Windows+R at the same time to open the Run dialog box.
- Once open, type regedit and click enter. It will open the Registry Editor.
- Go to this location: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\OneDrive
- Once inside, look for the OneDrive folder and click to open.
- Hover to the right side and look for the EnableMove and click to open. If you cannot find the EnableMove folder, it may not be available. You will need to create it. Right click on the OneDrive folder and click on New. Click on D-WORD(32-bit) and rename the file EnableMove.
- After opening the EnableMove, change the Value data to 1. Click OK to save your changes.
- Exit your registry editor and restart your computer to see if the backup tab is restored.

Also make sure that g.msn.com isn’t blocked on your network. We had the msn.com domain blocked at our school (due to the headlines often being unsuitable for young children.)
Once we whitelisted g.msn.com, OneDrive KFM started working again.
