Let’s try clearing the Gemini app cache. Launch the Settings menu of your device and head over to Apps. You can also navigate to Google Play Store. Now, select the Gemini app and go to Storage. Tap Clear cache and clear data. You will need to restart the app.

Have you recently updated the app? If not, you may have missed out on important updates. Go to the Play Store and look for the Gemini app. Check if there are pending updates that you can install immediately.

Make sure to select Gemini as your default assistant. To do so, open the App info of your Gemini app. Select Open and tap Digital Assistants from Google. Now, select Gemini.

If nothing works, a newly installed Gemini app may work. You will first need to uninstall the current app. After uninstalling your Gemini app, go to the Play Store and install the app again.
