A longer lifespan of a hardware device is attractive but not always the final factor when it comes to buying. However, it is a hidden desire of most users to extend the life of their electronics and save money.

Hence, repairability has been talked about in modern devices, as some electronics are non-repairable. This includes the Microsoft Surface devices, which has been a problem to most users.
To show their support, Microsoft launched a repair video officially for Surface devices in 2022 and continue to publish more guides in the later years. Recently, the giant tech company released a reassembly video of its Surface Pro 10 for Business. It is a 42- minute video which shows how to disassemble the new Surface Pro device and reassemble it.

In the video, the host shows the users how to disassemble the SSD, display, Surface Connect cable, speakers, buttons and thermal module. You will also see how he removes the microphone module, camera, motherboard and battery. In the next parts of the video, the host will try to reassemble these parts to its reverse sequence starting from the battery to the SSD.
You can find QR codes inside the device for access to guides or where you can find replacement parts. Microsoft also sells these parts in case you need them.
