Microsoft Edge browser recently launched its version 94.0.992.38. The update includes fixes for reported issues such as error codes CVE-2021-37975 and CVE-2021-37976.

There are new policies that allow only on-premises implicit sign-in and support for Windows OS routing table rules. Microsoft Edge has a new single-page accessibility-related setting that you can access in edge://settings/accessibility.

However, some users complain that they encounter a problem when they try to open a website in a new tab after updating their Microsoft Edge browser to the latest iteration of version 94.

The Microsoft Edge error code 11 appears with the error message, “This page is having a problem. Try coming back to it later. You could also: Open a new tab. Refresh this page. Error code 11.”

Users see the error message when they try to open a website in a new tab then go to other tabs while waiting for the website to load. Going back to the newly opened tab will result in the message appearing. The website also takes too long to load before the error message appears.

In some cases, users also experience the issue when they try to load a website in a new tab from the Google Search results. This issue appears on MS Edge chromium browser for Mac computer or Windows PC.

How to Troubleshoot & Fix Error Code 11 on Microsoft Edge Browser App Version 94 for Mac & PC

It seems frustrating to encounter a problem after updating your Microsoft Edge browser. You may expect to enjoy a better experience and not see an error message. However, you can try to resolve the issue with several solutions and fixes below.

Solution #1 – Refresh and Stay on the Tab while it Loads

The error message indicates a suggestion on what you need to do. You can try to refresh the page but, it helps to stay on the tab and wait for the website to load. If you have to go to a new tab before the website loads, you will need to do the refresh cycle several times.

Solution #2 – Restart your Microsoft Edge Browser

  • On your Microsoft Edge Chromium-based browser, click Microsoft Edge at the top left corner of the screen.
  • Select Quit Microsoft Edge.
  • Wait for a few moments.
  • Relaunch your Microsoft Edge browser and try reloading the website.

Solution #3 – Open Website on InPrivate Window on your Microsoft Edge Browser

  • Click the File tab.
  • Select New InPrivate Window.
  • Now, try to open the website.

Solution #4 – Power Cycle your Devices

  • Quit your Microsoft Edge browser.
  • Turn off your device.
  • Unplug your router and modem.
  • Wait for at least 1 minute.
  • Plug your router and modem back in and connect to the Internet.
  • Turn on your device.
  • Relaunch Microsoft Edge browser.

Solution #5 – Use a VPN Server

Solution #6 – Switch to a Different Browser
