You can find below several solutions that will help you troubleshoot the ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE on your Chrome browser. This specific browsing issue happens on Android or iOS mobile devices, as well as Windows or macOS desktop and laptop computers.

Solution #1 – Do a Power Cycle on your Devices

  • Go to Privacy and Security.
  • Click Clear browsing data.
  • Head over to the Advanced tab.
  • Set the Time Range to All Time.
  • Now, check the boxes next to browsing history, cookies, cache, and data.
  • Click the Clear Data button.

Solution #3 – Switch to a Different Web Browser

You can verify if the website itself has the problem and not your browser or network connection. Try to open the website using a different browser and check if there are issues or not.

Solution #4 – Disable your Antivirus Temporarily

If your antivirus is on, you can turn it off temporarily and check if the error message still appears on your Chrome browser. Antivirus helps keep viruses out of our devices. But, it may also block the website.

Solution #5 – Clear Host Cache on Google Chrome Browser

  • On the address bar of your Chrome browser, enter the following: chrome://net-internals/#dns.
  • Click the Clear Host Cache button.
  • Relaunch your Chrome browser.

Solution #6 – Update your Google Chrome App to the Latest Version

  • Click the three-dotted icon on your Chrome browser.
  • Go to Help.
  • Select About Google Chrome.
  • Wait for your browser to search for any available updates.
