Amazon Echo device users can create repeating alarms with Alexa in just a few seconds. With the voice-activated control, all you need to do is say a command. You can even set an Alexa internal timer reminder every 30 minutes.

Setting up an Interval Timer on Alexa via Voice Command
Repeating alarms are helpful if you have a fixed schedule that you must follow. You can create alarms with Alexa for a nap, daily exercise, or a reminder to drink your medicine. For some people, it helps to have a recurring alarm set when they have a consistent online meeting. You can use the repeating timers on your Amazon Echo device at home or in the office as long as you have your Echo device with you.
So, how do you create alarms with Alexa on your Amazon Echo device? You can say your commands to Alexa like “Alexa, make an alarm for 2 p.m.” But, how do you set a repeating alarm? You can say, “Alexa, set the alarm for 5 p.m. every day.”
Alexa can also create a constant timer for you only on the weekends when you say, “Alexa make an alarm for 10 a.m. every weekend.” It also works on weekdays. If you want your favorite song on the alarm, you can say, “Alexa, set an alarm for 6 a.m. to play Hey Jude.”
If you need to change your alarm, you can say, “Alexa, change the alarm time from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.” Make sure to indicate to Alexa which timer to change if you have multiple ones set. If you need to cancel it, say, “Alexa, cancel the 10 a.m. alarm.”

Creating Repeating or Recurring Alarms with Alexa via the Alexa App
Saying all your commands at work may not be comfortable for many people. If you do not want to voice out alarms, you can use the Alexa app.
- Launch the Alexa app on your device.
- Tap the More button.
- Choose Alarms & Timers.
- Tap the Plus sign button or the Add Alarm icon.
- Select the alarm time.
- Set the time you want.
- You can choose Repeat if you want it to recur.
- Now, select the days when to repeat the alarm. Make sure to tick off the days when you want it to go off.
- Tap Done.
- Tap Save.
You can also set a Reminder on the Alexa app in recurring alarms. Aside from consistently alarming the clock on time, reminders will notify you of what you need to do at that moment.
- On the Alexa app, tap the More button.
- Go to Reminders.
- Tap the Plus sign or the Add Reminder button.
- Set all the information you want. Make sure to set it to Repeat.
- Tap Save.
Repeating alarms on different or alternating days are only possible on the Alexa app and not via voice commands. For instance, you can set recurring timers for Tuesdays and Saturdays only.
