Solution #1 – Restart Your Device

Solution #2 – Check If Your Alexa App is Compatible with your Device

One of the reasons why your Alexa App gets stuck on set up is when you do not have the latest version of the app, or your device OS is not compatible. For Android phones, you will need to have the Android version 4.4 or higher. Apple devices should have iOS 8.0 or higher, and Amazon Fire devices with Fire OS 3.0 or higher.

  1. Solution #6: the link goes to a page where the only option is to download the Alexa App. (On my Android phone, anyway).
My device isn’t new, it is stuck in orange mode, nothing is helping. Very frustrated. Oh, also, about reinstalling the Alexa App. It isn’t that simple. It’s a built in app, you can only disable it, then enable it. Then you have to upgrade it. It took forever and still didn’t help.

  2. Solution #6: the link goes to a page where the only option is to download the Alexa App, I tried this on a PC and this is the only option it gives.
FFS I have had some many issues with the echo products, knew I should have gone the google way. I follow the app multiple times to connect and it doesn’t tell me there is an issue, just stays in setup mode for 10 minutes before saying its disconnected.

Most of your notes seem to lay the blame elsewhere instead of your poor product
