  1. This is false. There is no Apps icon > Settings > Storage & USB (Device section) from the Home screen.

    What’s the point in lying?

  2. So is there another way to do this? I have an app that has my previous log-in/account information and will not delete it, so i’m unable to enter my new information. disabling doesn’t work and for the life of me I cannot seem to find how to clear app cache!!

  3. Hi! You can look for the “More Apps” icon and go to the Settings or hit the Home button on your remote to do the same. Then, go to the Storage section to clear your cache. Hope it helps!

  4. Can you please post pictures of where exactly is “more apps” or that dreadful “apps icon” located. I am looking for the freaking setting for over an hour and cannot find that one. It’s webOS 4.7 (if that makes a difference). Also, do I need to be looking logged into the LG account for this or is it not necessary?

    • Yes, I would also like to know where “More Apps” is located. For the past few weeks, I’ve been having buffering issues with the Hulu app. Every time I try to stream content, it buffers every 1-2 seconds. One of the recommendations for fixing buffering issues is to clear the cache for the Hulu app, but there’s no direct way to do that on an LG tv.

  5. Hi Guys! Sorry for the confusion that this has caused. We have updated the post to be more clear (no pun intended) about the methods. Hopefully you will be able to clear the cache on your LG smart TV. Cheers!

  6. C’mon LG. Answer the question. How to clear the app cache on LG TV? I have an app that I need to sign into a different account but can’t because the app cache has me signed into a different account.

Deleting the app and reinstall doesn’t help.

I need to clear the cache and a new copy of FuboTV app that doesn’t just give me message that my account has expired.

  7. I am having same problem with Netflix. It want to update and says capacity full. It needs 67mb to do and it says I have 630 remaining so its no where close??? I can’t find any way in to clear either. Who would maunfacture something like this?
