  • On your Xbox Series X console, press the Xbox symbol.
  • Navigate to the Profile and System tab.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Select Devices and Connections.
  • Choose Blu-ray.
  • Head over to Persistent Storage.
  • Select Clear Persistent Storage.

How to Delete your Cache Data on Xbox Series S Console

Deleting the cache on the Xbox Series S console is different from the Xbox Series X console. However, you can also do this method to delete the cache on your Xbox Series X console. The only difference is that you cannot clear the persistent storage on your Xbox Series S console, so the first method above does not apply.

  • On your Xbox Series S console, press the Xbox symbol.
  • Navigate to the Profile and System tab.
  • Select Settings.
  • Go to Console Info.
  • Select Reset Console.
  • Choose Reset and Keep my Games & Apps.

Unplugging your Xbox Series X/S Console to Clear Cache

There is another method that you can do to delete the cache on your Xbox Series X/S series. All it takes is to unplug your console.

  • First, power off your console.
  • Next, unplug it from the power source.
  • Then, wait for at least 2 minutes before plugging it back.
  • Lastly, turn on your console.
