Having your own profile in a web browser gives room for personalization and backup of preferences. You can store your customized bookmarks as well as passwords in your own user profile.
Mozilla Firefox has been implementing the use of profiles for all its users. While it has an existing profile management page, it now plans to upgrade the feature for a more efficient management.

A new built-in profile manager is coming to Firefox web browsers! The current profile manager offers only the basic functionalities and does not give native support, hence an overhaul sets in place. With the upcoming profile manager, users will enjoy upgraded features and more tools in managing individual profiles. IT is also accessible in the main Firefox menu.
Unfortunately, the new profile manager is still on the works and is not enabled by default. But, you can activate it if you install the Firefox 126.0 and later versions.
Steps to Enable Mozilla Firefox Web Browser New Native or Built-In Profile Manager
Previously, you can access the profile manager using about:profiles URL. To access the new profile manager, you need to go to about:profilemanager.
- To enable the new Firefox profile manager, enter about:config in the address bar.
- Click Accept the Risk and Continue.
- Enter profiles in the search box.
- Look for browser.profiles.enabled.
If the preference is set to False, it is disabled. Double-click it to change the value to True. You can also click the icon next to it.
Now, you can access the new profile manager via the three-lined icon in the main menu.
Wrapping Up!
Enjoy a more dedicated and efficient profile manager on Firefox browser. You can easily create a new profile, rename existing ones or delete any profile as you wish.
