There are several reasons why you encounter the Critical_Structure_Corruption stop error message. First, your computer may have a hardware failure such as faulty or corrupted hardware. Another reason is when your device driver overwrites the kernel code. There may also be issues with your drivers in Windows.

Method #1 – Perform a Blue Screen Troubleshooter Scan

  • Go to Settings by clicking Start or pressing Windows key + I.
  • Click Update & Security.
  • On the left side, choose Troubleshoot.
  • Look for Blue Screen and select Run the troubleshooter.
  • Wait for the process to finish check for any updates or fixes to help you solve the error.

Method #2 – Run an SFC Scan

SFC will help you scan, detect, and fix system corruption.

  • Click Start.
  • Click Command Prompt (Admin).
  • Type sfc/scannow and hit Enter.
  • Wait for the scan to finish before closing the Command Prompt.

Method #3 – Perform the DISM Command

  • Click Start.
  • Open Command Prompt (Admin).
  • Type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth and hit Enter.
  • Type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and hit Enter.
  • Wait for the scan to finish.
  • Close the Command Prompt.
  • Restart your computer.

Method #4 – Check your Drivers

  • Click Start and select Device Manager.
  • Enable Show hidden devices under View.
  • Look for any faulty driver and see if you can reinstall a new driver.

Method #5 – Uninstalling Several Programs

There are programs in your computer that may be related to the CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION blue screen error. These are:

  • Daemon Tools
  • Alcohol 120%
  • Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager
  • Virtualbox
  • Android Emulator
  • Bluestacks
  • MacDriver

Uninstalling these programs can help fix the error. To uninstall:

  • Go to Programs and Features. You can open the Run dialog box and type appwiz.cpl.
  • Look for the programs mentioned above and double click on each entry.
  • Click Uninstall.
  • After you have successfully uninstalled the programs, close the Programs and Features window.
  • Restart your computer.
