How to Fix Error 0x80073D01 Can’t Install/Uninstall Microsoft Store Apps in Windows 10

Solution #1 – Try to Reinstall the Microsoft Store Apps Again

If you have not successfully installed the apps from the Windows 10 app store, you can try reinstalling it again. Go to My Library inside the Microsoft Store. Select the app and reinstall it. You can also use the Search feature to look for the app.

Solution #2 – Run the Windows App Troubleshooter

  • Click the Start button.
  • Select Settings.
  • Go to Update & Security.
  • Click Troubleshoot.
  • Look for Windows Store apps.
  • Click Run the troubleshooter.
  • If the scan found a fix, click Apply this fix.
  • Restart your computer.

Solution #3 – Update Microsoft Store Client on PC

  • Click the Start button.
  • Look for the Microsoft Store app and click to open it.
  • Click the More button or the three-dotted icon.
  • Select Downloads and Updates.
  • Click Get updates.

Solution #4 – Reset the Microsoft Store Cache on Windows 10

  • Enter wsreset.exe and run it with administrative rights.
  • Wait until the Command Prompts closes.

Solution #5 – Install Any Available Windows Update

  • Go to the Settings menu.
  • Select Update & Security.
  • Click Windows Update.
  • Select Check for Updates.
  • Click Install Now if there are available updates.
  • Restart your computer.
