Instagram needs no introduction as one of the most popular social media sites. With so many influencers and celebrities, the site gets tons of traffic. On top of that, thanks to its focus on being an image-based social media site that’s easy to scroll through, it stands out. It works well as a secondary social media platform for many people.

With so many users, however, it’s practically impossible to avoid some errors here and there. One of the most infamous and difficult ones however is the feedback required error, an issue that surfaces when your account has been flagged, the server is overloaded, or you perform actions too fast. What makes it so frustrating to deal with is that Instagram will temporarily block your IP address once it happens.

We’ve compiled a small guide that takes you through the steps to troubleshoot and fix this sign in problem on an Android phone or iPhone, so let’s get right into it.

How to Troubleshoot & Fix Instagram App Feedback Required Login Error with your Account on Android or iPhone

It’s important to note that this error message comes in different forms, those being “feedback_required,” “Sorry, we couldn’t complete your request. Please try again in a moment,” or “Server error feedback required.” If you’ve been receiving this issue on repeat with your Instagram account and it doesn’t go away, follow the steps below, and things should return to normal soon.

Method #1 – Clear Your Instagram App’s Data Cache on Android

  • Go to the Settings menu.
  • Tap on the Apps settings.
  • Select “Manage Apps.”
  • Find Instagram and open up its app information.
  • Tap on “Clear Data.”
  • Select the “Clear Cache” option.
  • Open up Instagram to see if the error is resolved.

Method #2 – Reinstall the Instagram App on iPhone

  • On your iOS homescreen, find the Instagram app.
  • Click and hold the icon until more options come up.
  • Delete the Instagram app.
  • Now, go back to the App Store.
  • Search for Instagram and install it again.
  • Open the application and log in as usual.
  • See if the error is resolved.

Method #3 – Check if Instagram Servers Are Down

  • Head to www.downdetector.com to check if Instagram’s servers are down.
  • If the servers are down, you’ll need to wait before trying again.
  • Once Instagram servers return, try logging back in.
  • See if the error has been resolved.

Instagram is such a popular social media app that having an error like this seems impossible. It forces users to stop using Instagram at all, which goes directly against what Instagram should want. Still, we hope we helped you with your issue, and for more fixes and guides like this, stay tuned.
