Solution #1 – Check Your Network Connection

  • Turn on your computer and launch OneDrive.

Solution #3 – Change the Internet Properties

  • Launch the Run Dialog box.
  • Type inetcpl.cpl and hit OK.
  • Go to the Advanced tab.
  • Check the boxes beside the Use TLS 1.0, Use TLS 1.1, and Use TLS 1.2 options.
  • Click Apply.
  • Click OK.

Solution #4 – Reset Your OneDrive App

  • Open the Run Dialog box.
  • Type %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset and hit OK.
  • After resetting, relaunch OneDrive and check if the error is still there.

Solution #5 – Reset the Windows Socket

  • Open the Command Prompt with Admin access.
  • Type netsh winsock reset catalog and hit Enter.
  • Now, restart your computer and launch OneDrive.

Solution #6 – Modify Your PC LAN Settings

  • Go to the Internet Properties window. You can type inetcpl.cpl on the Run Dialog box to access it.
  • Go to the Connections tab.
  • Select LAN Settings.
  • Look for Automatically detect settings and check the box.
  • Look for Use a proxy server for your LAN and uncheck the box.
  • Click Apply.
  • Click OK.
