It is so much easier when we can jot down notes on our devices via OneNote. The digital note-taking app gives us ease in writing whatever comes to mind, just like on a notebook.
But, what if your scribbles do not appear legible? Being in a hurry sometimes makes our handwritten notes clear as mud.

Microsoft got you covered with its recent tool called The Straightening feature! Still in the process of testing, the new feature will straighten ink handwriting on OneNote app for Windows 10 or 11 computer. That means, it will adjust and clean your handwriting to make it more readable!
How Does Microsoft Straightening Tool Work?
Scribble down anything on your OneNote app. After writing, highlight the text you want to straighten and tap the new Straightening button. It will instantly create the adjustments on the text and make it clearer for you to read.
The Straightening tool will simply make changes with the spacing or other areas of your handwriting that makes it appear vague. It also works only with Latin alphabets. It will not convert the text into other formats.
As of now, the feature is currently tested on OneNote Beta Channel on Windows 10 or 11 PC in OneNote version 2404 with Build 17530.20000 or later.
