Google is giving you another option when it comes to setting new appointments on Google Calendar. While you can easily set any calendar appointments to repeat weekly or do not repeat at all, Google allows you the chance to customize it according to your preference. This gives you more flexibility as not all appointments are fixed on stone to happen only every week or not at all.Â

But, Google does not stop there. Another new feature on Google Calendar is the chance for bookers and co-hosts to add other users on their events. Of course, this comes with permissions. You need to allow the “Guests can invite others” option. Once enabled, other users you add to your appointment schedule can host others.

Speaking of appointment schedules, Google is rolling out Appointment Schedule as replacement to Appointment Slots. Starting on July 18, you will no longer see Appointment slots but be able to manage all your bookings via Appointment Schedules. It is more dedicated and user-friendly that allows you to set time slots for people to book with you.
You can experience the improved and enhanced functionality of these features in Google users with personal accounts, Business, Education, Nonprofits, Enterprise and other workspace tiers. However, you can only add Google Groups as co-hosts on workspace tiers and not on personal accounts, individual workspace accounts and Google One Premium.
