Back in 2021, WhatsApp announced that it stopped working on selected iPhones. Apple users enjoy the added option when it comes to text communications on their iPhones. However, WhatsApp will no longer work and be supported on select Apple mobile devices running on iOS 10 and iOS 11. The latest app upgrade will now only be compatible with iOS 12 and newer versions.
iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c are two iPhone models running on iOS 10. Those who still continue to use these two Apple devices need to upgrade their iPhones or stop using WhatsApp services. The discontinuation became effective after October 2021.
