The Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition is on. Steam is making several dozens of game demos available for users to download and play starting today up until March 23rd at 10am PDT.
Aside from the free-to-play demos, other highlighted games from the Indie MEGABOOTH, The MIX, Day of the Devs and WINGS Fund are also here for users to enjoy. The current number is now at 40 games, a big jump from the initial 12 featured games last month.

This comes on the heels of the cancellation of the Game Developers Conference (GDC). The aim is to help independent and small game developers demo their new titles which they were supposed to do in the San Francisco GDC event this week. These indie developers are regular participants of the annual GDC gathering. As we know it, the GDC cancellation was due to the COVID-19 pandemic that’s wrecking havoc all around the world right now.
The Steam Game Festival was first initiated in December last year during the Game Awards that Steam organized.
So, what are you waiting for? Give these awesome games a test drive while you are enjoying your stay-at-home time. Remember, you only have until March 23rd to play these games for free.
