When they use the Spotify app on their Apple smartphone device, it drains 30% of their battery life within an hour. Some users claim that their battery drain is 60% when they open the music streaming app, which is a lot. The excessive and too much power usage also causes an overheat on iPhone’s battery when using Spotify.
Despite the full hours of charging their batteries, some users experience the high battery draining and overheating every time they open the Spotify app. Now, this incident happens after users updated their iOS firmware to the recent iOS 15 operating system. Still, users who are on iOS 14.8 also encounter the Spotify problem.
