When you don’t want strangers to easily see your personal email address but somehow, you have to due to sign up purposes, that is when Apple has a solution for you. Hide My Emails is an iOS feature that generates unique and random email addresses in place of your real email address. Using these generated email addresses, email messages will be forwarded to your own account.

The first thing you have to do is subscribe to iCloud+ for you to enjoy the benefit of Apple’s Hide My Email. You can then find and access the tool via the Settings menu.

Just go to the Settings and tap your name. Select iCloud and choose Hide My Email. From there, you can easily manage the feature.

To create a new Hide My Email address, tap the Create a Hide My Email address and follow the instruction. You can also deactivate existing Hide My Email addresses by tapping the existing address and select Deactivate Email Address. It will stop forwarding email to you.
