Amazon determines your eligibility for approval to join in their monthly payment plans to finance your purchases. Take note that this isn’t a benefit that all customers automatically get.

The platform will go through your account to identify if you’re qualified for these plans. Your purchase history will be the first thing they will look at. The price of the item or items you plan to buy will also be taken into consideration.

You also need to confirm that it is a personal and not a professional or business purchase. Amazon doesn’t perform a credit check either so you can put your worries to rest.

Here are other qualifications that you need to meet to become eligible for Amazon monthly payments financing plans:

  • Active Amazon account
  • Active credit card
  • A US resident
  • Positive payment history
