Keeping up with your favorite shows on Netflix is easy, even without an Internet connection, thanks to offline downloads. Netflix enables you to download ahead selected titles from its library, so you can watch them offline whenever you can. You can download movies and TV series on your Android and Apple mobile devices as well as Windows 10 laptop computers.

One of the added features of Netflix is the Smart Downloads. It will make downloading TV series episodes a breeze, space-saving and more convenient for you. Smart Downloads will automatically delete a finished episode and automatically downloads the next one for you.

The main problem when downloading movies and shows for offline viewing is the storage space needed to store all your content. If you continually download offline titles from Netflix, your storage space will end up full pretty quickly. There will be no more room for more. The best thing to do is to delete some of your files or remove the other downloaded content to free up some space.

If you enable Smart Downloads, you don’t have to worry about show episodes cluttering in your storage space. You don’t have to manually remove shows you have finished streaming. Smart Downloads will delete the episodes for you while you move on to another series or movie.

How to Use Netflix Smart Downloads Feature

All you have to do is to turn on Netflix Smart Downloads to use it. If you enable the Smart Downloads, there is nothing more you can do but wait for the next episode of your favorite series. However, this feature works only when you use a WiFi connection. It will not download content on cellular data. You also need to install the latest version of your Netflix app.
