When it comes to account and online safety, one of the most recommended security measures is to change your password now and then. Your password along with your username is your entryway to your online accounts. While it keeps them secured, getting your password hacked will make your accounts more vulnerable.

If you want to keep your Spotify music streaming account protected, it is best to change your password once in a while. But, there is a difference between changing and resetting it.

When you change passwords, it means you want to delete the old one and change it with something new. Resetting would indicate that you have forgotten your password and want to retrieve your account by getting a new password set.

  • Open your email client and check the reset email message from Spotify.
  • Click Go to Spotify.
  • Enter your new password.
  • You can now log in using your new password.
