Fix Can’t Disable or Turn Off Touchpad in Windows 10 with Mouse Connected

RECOMMENDED: Download this tool to help you safely fix common Windows errors & automatically optimize system performance

Getting used to doing something new can take time, but not everyone likes the adjustment. Laptop computers come with a touchpad or trackpad that offers the same functionality as an external mouse devoid of the added peripherals to your computer. It is an easy-to-use and reliable feature when you want less bulk in your hands. Popular brands that offer the best touchpad experience include Lenovo, HP, Dell, and Asus.

Unfortunately, some users prefer the use of an external mouse on their computers. They find using an actual mouse contributes greatly to their productivity and speed. If you are one of these people, you can opt to disable the touchpad on your Windows 10 laptop computers.

There are several ways to turn off the touchpad or trackpad on your computer. However, some users complained that the disable option settings is missing or not working. If you find it a problem to disable or cannot turn off the touchpad, you can try other alternative ways to fix the issue.
