Fixing Memory Leak Problem Due to Insufficient Storage Space on Chromecast with Google TV Streaming Device

Memory leaks affect the performance of an app on any device. It can also disrupt the entire OS of your Chromecast with Google TV. To help you troubleshoot these hardware problems, check out the methods that you can try below.

Method #1 – Uninstall Unused Apps to Free up Storage Space on your Chromecast with Google TV

Check your app library and see if there are apps that you can remove to free up some precious space on your device’s limited storage allocation. You may also want to watch out which app may be causing the issue and try to delete it as well.   • Navigate to the Settings menu on your Chromecast with Google TV.
  • Select About.
  • Choose System Update.
  • Make sure you are installing the firmware QTS1.210311.036.

Method #4 – Use an External USB
