How to Fix Left or Right Side of Apple AirPod Pro Not Working or Playing Issue

How to Troubleshoot & Resolve Right or Left AirPod Not Working or So Quiet Issues on Apple AirPods

Check out below several methods on how you can fix the error on your left or right Apple AirPods earbud. Follow each solution one at a time and check if it works or not.

Method #1 – Check your AirPods for Physical Damage

See if there are physical signs of damage on your AirPods. You can also check for dirt or debris that has accumulated on your earbuds or headphones. Try to clean your AirPods based on Apple’s instructions.

Method #2 – Restart your iPhone

  • Exit all running applications in the background.
  • Turn off your iPhone for at least 3 minutes.
  • Turn on your iPhone.
  • Try to use your AirPods again.

Method #3 – Reset your Apple AirPods

  • Put both your Apple AirPods back in the charging case.
  • Open the Settings menu.
  • Go to Bluetooth.
  • Tap the i button.
  • Tap Forget This Device.
  • Look for the Pairing buttons at the back of your AirPods Pro. Press and hold these buttons until the light turns white.
  • Open the charging case and pair it with your iPhone.
  • After pairing, charge your AirPods.

Method #4 – Set the Audio Balance in the Middle

  • Open the Settings menu.
  • Go to Accessibility.
  • Select Audio/Visual.
  • Choose Balance.
  • Now, set it in the middle.

Method #5 – Turn Off Mono Audio

  • Open the Settings menu.
  • Go to Accessibly.
  • Navigate to the Hearing section.
  • Select Audio/Visual.
  • Look for the Mono Audio option and toggle the button to Off.

Method #6 – Contact Apple Support

Launch any web browser and go to https://support.apple.com/airpods to get started.
