Method #1 – Restart Your Roku Device

  • Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
  • Navigate to the Settings menu.
  • Go to System.
  • Select System restart.
  • Click OK to confirm the restart.

Method #2 – Add More Channels From Roku’s Channel Store

Method #5 – Perform a Reset on Your Roku Device

There are two kinds of reset you can do on your Roku TV or streaming media device: soft reset and hard reset.

  • To soft reset your Roku device, follow the sequence:
  • Press the Home button five times.
  • Press the Up button once.
  • Press the Rewind button twice.
  • Press the Fast Forward button twice.

How to Hard Reset Roku

  • To perform a hard reset on a Roku device, go to Settings.
  • Select System and click Advanced System Settings.
  • Click Factory Reset.

Note that a factory or hard reset process will delete your personal information and reset your Roku settings to their default values.
