Method #1 – Restart Your Roku Device

  • Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
  • Navigate to the Settings menu.
  • Go to System.
  • Select System restart.
  • Click OK to confirm the restart.

  • On any browser, go to https://channelstore.roku.com/browse.
  • Login to your account if you have not.
  • Look for any channel that you want to add on Roku.
  • Select the channel and click Add.
  • To start, change your password on your Roku account.
  • Go to my.roku.com and login to your account.
  • Access My Account.
  • Navigate to the Account Information section.
  • Select Update.
  • Change your password and click Save Changes.
  • Under My Account, go to the My linked devices section.
  • Select Unlink to all your devices.

Method #5 – Perform a Reset on Your Roku Device

There are two kinds of reset you can do on your Roku TV or streaming media device: soft reset and hard reset.

  • To soft reset your Roku device, follow the sequence:
  • Press the Home button five times.
  • Press the Up button once.
  • Press the Rewind button twice.
  • Press the Fast Forward button twice.

How to Hard Reset Roku

  • To perform a hard reset on a Roku device, go to Settings.
  • Select System and click Advanced System Settings.
  • Click Factory Reset.
