STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION in Microsoft Edge Browser

Microsoft launched the version 126.0.2592.113 last July 18, 2024 as a small update for Microsoft Edge browsers in the Stable Channel. The updated version contains fixes for the renderer crash occurring after some sites have enabled web content accessibility feature. This also includes the Intune dashboard and the Azure portal.

Part of the update is also a fix on the New Tab Page feed issue of Edge browser. The problem happened when Edge New Tab Page feed was activated after disabling the NewTabPageContentEnabled policy.

You can install the latest browser version by heading to About Microsoft Edge. Click the three-dotted icon and select Help and Feedback.

On top of the fixes above, there are also fixes for Chromium vulnerabilities.
