Moving forward to a cool addition – a proper pause screen has landed on the game. Instead of suffering the greater possibility of being dead in-game while switching to another window or opening a menu, you can pause the game and execute a risk-less action! Just hit the pause button.
Prior to the new update, Minecraft gamers cannot actually pause the game when opening the menu or switching to a different window. Everything continues. Now, pause it, halt it for a few seconds and get back on.
But, it only appears on single-player games. Multiplayer remains playing even when you hit pause.
