Sometimes, the written serial number on the inside of the charging case can be hard to recognize. If this is the case for you, you can also easily get hold of your serial number from the Settings app of your iPhone or iPad device. Here’s how to do it.

  • Connect your AirPods to your iPhone or iPad device. (Your AirPods needs to have power and a Bluetooth connection).
  • On your iPhone or iPad device, open the Settings app.
  • Then, go to General > About.
  • At the bottom of the screen, tap on AirPods.

Note: If you don’t see this setting, please make sure that your AirPods are connected properly through Bluetooth.

That’s it! You can now manually write down your Airpods’ serial number. Unfortunately, doing a long-press to copy your serial number is not allowed.
