Install the Latest Facebook Version

Installing the latest version of your Facebook app is one of the easiest ways to ensure that you don’t end up dealing with annoying error codes. Be sure to check if there is an available update for the app and install it right away. Once you’ve finished the installation, open your Facebook app again and see if the error code is gone.

Check the Time on Your Device

You might probably end up getting error codes on your Facebook app if the time and date on your device don’t match that of your geographic location. You might be able to solve the issue if you reset the right time and date on your device first.

Ensure a Stable Connection

Your internet connection might be the one to blame as to why you’re seeing error codes 1, 2, 10, or 190 on your Facebook account. See to it that your data or WiFi connection is active on your device and ensure that everything is working fine with your router.

Verify the Status of Facebook Servers

This is an important step to take if you are ever faced with error codes on Facebook. Server issues are quite common in all apps, and Facebook is no exception. Use a down detector to check the status of Facebook servers. If they are down at the moment, you are left with no choice but to wait for them to be back up and running again.

Uninstall and Reinstall Facebook App

Facebook error codes 1, 2, 10, and 190 might be gone for good if you uninstall and reinstall the app. Starting from scratch means you’ll start afresh and anew with your app experience, which means that there will be no error codes to ruin your Facebook usage.

Restart Your Device
