Top Methods to Fix the New Bing Waitlist Error Code E010014, E010016 or E010013

Method 1: Check the Status of the Microsoft Server

Before you feel too annoyed, the first thing you need to do is check the status of the Microsoft server. For all you know, you might be getting the error codes because the server is down. To rule out this issue, go to the official page of Microsoft Service Status.

Check all the apps and services to confirm any outages. If there is indeed an outage, the excessive load might be the reason why the server is busy. If it’s the case, the best thing you can do is just wait first before you try using Bing again.

Method 2: Clear Browser Cache and Cookies

This is also the best time for you to clear your browser’s cache data and cookies. For all you know, these error codes are the result of corrupted cache data.

Method 3: Switch of Windows Defender Firewall in the Meantime

Although this might be the least possible reason, the new Bing may also stop functioning properly if your Windows Defender Firewall blocks the Edge browser from launching in Windows. Try to turn off the feature on your PC temporarily and check if it fixes the problem.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Press S and Windows keys to open the Windows Search screen.
  2. In the text field, type Defender Firewall and then press enter to open it.
  3. Choose Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off from the left navigation.
  4. Wait for the feature to pop up in the right pane.
  5. Switch off Firewall settings under Public and Private network settings.
  6. Tap OK to confirm the new changes.
  7. Restart your PC.

After your computer reloads, confirm if you can now use the new Bing without encountering any issues. If you’re using external security apps, you might also want to disable or uninstall them for now.
