Rockstar Games offers popular online games like Halloween Bunker Series, The Halloween Pass, Red Dead, and Grand Theft Auto. Gamers can play any game they want on the game client while interacting with other gamers.

But, some users have reported an error that their Rockstar Game Services are unavailable on Windows 10 computer. Users playing GTA 5 and GTA Online games are specifically affected by the issue. There are different reasons why it happens on your PC. One is when the servers of Rockstar Games are down. Another is when there is an issue with your network connection. Your computer may not work properly, or there is a problem with your antivirus software.

Solution #1 – Power Cycle Your Device

A quick refresh on your computer and router can help fix the error.

  1. Shut down your computer and unplug your devices.
  2. Wait for at least 1 minute.
  3. Plug your router and modem back on.
  4. Once fully connected, power on your computer and try again.

Solution #2 – Disable Your Antivirus Software

When playing your games, your antivirus may be blocking the games dues to a lot of resources consumed. You may try to disable your antivirus and check if it is causing the error. If it is, you can disable the software each time you play your games and turn it back on afterward.

To disable your antivirus software, locate the program. Right-click on the icon and select Disable. To enable it, do the same process and select Enable.

It is possible that the server is down. If it does, all you have to do is wait for Rockstar Games to fix the servers on their end. Check online forums or their website for news and updates.

Solution #4 – Disable the Proxy Servers

  2. Type inetcpl.cpl and hit Enter.
  3. Navigate to the Connections tab.
  4. Under the Local Area Network settings, click the LAN settings box.
  5. Look for the proxy servers and uncheck it to disable.
