If you are fond of playing games online, you may have played popular games like Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs on Ubisoft. However, many users have reported an error when they try to log in to play or launch Ubisoft using the Uplay desktop app on Windows 10 PC. The error reads, “A Ubisoft service is currently unavailable.”

There are several reasons why you are facing with the Ubisoft unavailable error. You may be having network issues, or your time and date are not set correctly. Using IPv6 or Hamachi may also cause issues with your Uplay.

How Do I Fix Ubisoft Service is Unavailable?

Solution #1 – Run an SFC

Performing an SFC scan will allow windows to look for the error and repair them, if possible.

  1. Press the Windows key + R simultaneously to launch the Run dialog box.
  2. Type cmd. To open with admin rights, click CTRL + Shift + Enter, instead of hitting Enter only.
  3. Now, type sfc /scannow.
  4. Wait for the process to finish and restart your computer.
  5. Now, try launching Ubisoft again.

Solution #2 – Check Your Time and Date

Make sure that your Windows 10 computer has the correct time and date.

  1. Go to your Windows Setting.
  2. Select Time & language.
  3. Go to Date & Time.
  4. Now, adjust the correct date and time based on your time zone.

Solution #3 – Disable the IPv6

  1. Launch the Control Panel.
  2. Go to Network and Internet.
  3. Select Network and Sharing Center.
  4. Click the Change adapter settings.
  5. Go to the Network Adapter.
  6. Navigate to Properties.
  7. Search for Internet Protocol Version 6 and uncheck the box.
  8. Restart your computer.

Solution #4 – Uninstall Hamachi

If you are using Hamachi, you might want to uninstall it and check if you still encounter the Ubisoft issue.

  1. Go to Control Panel.
  2. Navigate to Programs.
  3. Select Uninstall a program.
  4. Select Apps.
  5. Look for Hamachi or the LogMeIn Hamachi.
  6. Click Uninstall.
  7. After the uninstall process is done, click Finish.
  8. Restart your computer.
