It’s natural to make mistakes in what we do. However, it does not have to be that way all the time, especially if there are ways we can improve ourselves upon.

Take writing for instance. Writing a paper or a blog may be prone to mistakes. But, fortunately, we have tools that can help us correct these mistakes and make our output impeccable. We have grammar services that will check and correct the errors we might have overlooked while writing or proofreading. That being said, who says you cannot post an excellently-written blog?

There are many writing and proofreading tools these days but now, we will be comparing two popular services, Hemingway Editor versus Grammarly.

You will see statistics of your readability, mistakes, word count, and other similar aspects. All its features are in a singular editor to makes it easier and more effective in correcting mistakes.

As for Hemingway Editor, there is no need to create an account for you to access the editor. You will also see your scores on readability, word count, and reading time. The homepage is also the editor so you can simply add in your writing for evaluation.

Grammarly features different writing styles for you to set so its editing process is based on what you have indicated. You can set it as academic writing or business writing. You can also set if it is for the general audience or the experts, if it is formal or informal.

While Grammarly focuses on grammar, Hemingway Editor, on the other hand, concentrates on writing short and crisp sentences and offering alternative sentences to different phrases. Hemingway enables you to work offline so there is no need for an Internet connection every time.
