Google Sheets launched the Conditional Notifications feature to allow users to get notified via email if there are changes or editing made on their worksheets. Whether it is a change in a cell value or in one column, users added to the notification rule will receive an email indicating the changes made.

Steps to Create and Start Using Conditional Notifications to Email Users with Changes on Google Sheets
Take note that Conditional Notifications does not apply on changes in the value formatting of the content as well as content from external sources and connected sheets. Here’s how to create your set up and start using the new spreadsheet feature.

- To start, launch Google Sheets and open the worksheets.
- Navigate to Tools.
- Select Conditional Notifications.
- Click Add Rule.
- Enter the details you want for your conditional notification rule.
- Enter the email addresses of your recipients.
- Click Save.
Another way is to right click on any cell on your worksheet. Select Conditional notifications and edit the rule. You can add up to 10 email addresses of your recipients.
