But, if you happen to come across errors that stop you from moving forward to your game or access your Roblox account, there are solutions that you can do to fix them. You may encounter one of these common Roblox app errors, the error code 267, 523, 524, or 529.
Roblox Error Code 267
The Roblox error code 267 points out a software or developer issue, which blocks your way into the game. For some users, it could mean that their accounts need to be at least 30 days old to join a particular game. However, users with an account older than 3 years are still getting kicked out of a game with this error code. This Roblox error code comes with different error message depending on the reason of you getting kicked out or banned in a game.
Roblox Error Code 523
If you see the Roblox error code 523, it means that there are problems related to the server. You will get the error message “Join Error – The status of the game has changed, and you no longer have access, Error Code: 523.” Users often encounter this issue when joining servers that have not accepted their requests. In other instances, when server administrators change the privacy settings to Private, the error also kicks in.
Roblox Error Code 524
As for Roblox error code 524, it can also mean a server downtime or an entry into a game server without any permission. Most of the time, this issue is caused by a slow Internet connection and can be easily resolved or remedied.
Roblox Error Code 529
Roblox error code 529 indicates technical server issues as well. Your device might be unable to connect to the Roblox servers. In some instances, one of the Roblox services used by the game, like the DataStores, is down. If the DataStore or other essential Roblox services are down, players might be thrown out of a game showing the error code 529.
Still, there can be different other reasons why you experience any of the Roblox error codes above. But, there are also ways to resolve and fix them.
How to Fix Roblox Game Server Error Code 267, 523, 524 or 529
To troubleshoot any of the error codes 267, 523, 524, and 529 problem on the Roblox app, try following each of the solutions below one at a time. Then, check if it fixes the error or not. Some methods work on Windows 10/11 PC, Mac computer, Android phone or tablet, as well as iOS devices like iPhone and iPad.
Solution #1 – Re Login to your Roblox Account
- To log out of your iOS app, tap the More button at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Settings.
- Tap Log Out.
- Tap Log Out again to confirm.
- To log out of your Android app, tap the More button at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the arrow icon on the top right corner.
- Tap the Log out button.
Solution #2 – Power Cycle your Devices
It can be a network issue so power cycling can help refresh your connection.
- Turn off your device where you play Roblox on.

- Wait for at least 1 minute before plugging them back in.

- On your browser, click the More button or the three-dotted icon.
- Go to Advanced.
- Select Reset Settings.
- Click Restore settings to their original defaults.
- Restart your browser.
Solution #5 – Allow Roblox in your Windows Defender Firewall
- Launch the Control Panel of your computer.
- Go to Windows Security.
- Select Firewall & network protection settings.
- Click Allow an app through the firewall.
- Select Change settings.
- Look for Roblox and check the boxes under Private and Public.
- Click the OK button.
Solution #6 – Wait for Roblox Team to Fix the Server Issue
Granting that it is a server issue, more often than not, you cannot do anything but wait for Roblox to fix the error on their end. Sometimes, their servers are down, or there is a massive outage experienced by users worldwide. Nothing is wrong with your app, Internet network connection, or your device. You just have to wait it out.
