Method 1 – Use Incognito Window
Incognito Window is a private browsing feature of a browser, which enable privacy in your web searches. While using incognito window, websites that you visited and data files are not stored in the windows.
Using incognito window when opening and signing in to a website will give it a fresh process hence minimizing errors. All major browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Safari or Brave have this feature easily accessible.
Method 2 – Send your File to a PDF Reader
Sending your PDF file outside of Google Chrome can help avoid the error. You can install PDF Readers like the Adobe Acrobat Reader that will open your PDF file for you instead of opening it via Chrome. From the PDF Reader, you can send it to your printer without hassle.
Method 3 – Clearing your Cache
Keep in mind that clearing your cache will also delete the settings you have saved on some of the websites. You may want to check these sites first before choosing to clear all of your cache.
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click the three dots on the top right or the More button.
- Select More tools.
- Choose Clear browsing data.
- Adjust the time range or you can choose All time if you want to clear all your data.
- Check the Cookies and other site data box.
- Check the Cached images and files box.
- Next, click Clear data.
Method 4 – Change Your Printer Settings
Postscript driver is often in the printer setting hence triggering the error. What you can do is to change it to PCL driver. On your Printing Preferences, go to the Advanced section of your Printer’s Settings. Disable PostScript pass-through and save the changes.
