The Browser Company’s Arc Browser has set foot into Windows ecosystem last April 30, 2024, and users have been ecstatic in venturing into another platform of web browsing.

Much to their dismay, some users who downloaded and installed the app reported that Arc browser is not working on their Windows 11 PC. Launching or opening the web browser has been a problem for many. However, there are workarounds that we can try to help resolve the issue.

First, let’s check your network connection. Do you have a reliable network speed as of the moment? If not, maybe you can try to improve your Internet connection. You can perform a power cycle to refresh the connectivity by turning off and on your router for a few minutes. Another way is to connect your Windows 11 computer to a different network.

Second is to restart your Windows PC. Doing so will help refresh your device processes. Simply power off your computer and power it on again. Now, you can try relaunching the Arc browser.

Third, a quick update on your Arc browser might help. Maybe there are pending updates for the browser that you forgot to install. To check for updates, go to the Settings menu and click Check for Updates. Now, hit Install and Restart.

Fourth, your Windows PC may be needing an update. On your Windows PC, go to the Settings menu and navigate to Windows Update. Click Check for updates and hit Download and Install if there are available updates. Click Restart Now to finish the process.

Fifth, try to reset your Arc Browser settings. On your Arc browser, go to arc://settings/reset. Now, click Restore settings to their original defaults. Hit Reset settings to start the process. Sixth, you may need to reinstall the Arc Browser. To do this, open the Settings menu of your Windows computer. Go to Apps and Apps & features. Look for the Arc browser and click Uninstall. Head over to Arc’s official website and install the browser again.
