- Type in the query you’d like to address
- If everything works as intended, you won’t encounter an error
If this method doesn’t work, it’s likely that the ChatGPT servers are currently dealing with a lot of requests, so you might have to wait for a little while.
Solution #2 – Restart your Device
A cold restart should never be underrated as a solution for an unwanted error on a PC. The Error in Body Stream issue can be fixed if your computer is having troubles connecting with the network, or certain temporary files have been in place for too long.
- Go to the Start menu on windows
- Click on the power icon and select restart
- Wait for your PC to boot up again

Similar to New Thread, you can also reset the thread here to quickly get rid of the problem.
- At the top-left of your ChatGPT window, you’ll find a Reset Thread button which you can use to reconfigure your queries
- Click on it and attempt to enter a prompt
See what the results are after attempting this method. If you’re still not receiving a good feedback, it might be time to call it quits for a short while.
Solution #5 – Wait for it to Work
ChatGPT has amassed over a 100 million users within a short span of time. If you want it to work as effectively as possible, it will be hard to satisfy every single user. These downtimes happen fairly often and the service is constantly being updated to improve uptimes.
Be sure to use ChatGPT at moments that are not peak hours. Instead of midday, try it in the middle of the night, when less people are online.
