After two or more songs, the streaming service randomly pauses or skips and users have to manually tap Play for the song to continue. This problem is prominent on mobile users, especially for Android users using the Spotify app. If you experience the same issue, there are several methods you can do to fix this problem.

If you have signed in your Spotify account to more than one device, it may be the reason why you experience the problem. Spotify has a Sign out everywhere feature that allows you to sign out your account to all devices.

  • Open Spotify web app and log in to your account.
  • Go to the Account Overview page.
  • Look for the Sign out everywhere option and click the button.
  • Now, try to sign in to only one device and check if the problem still exists.

Solution #4 – Disable Battery Saver Mode

  • Navigate to Settings.
  • Select Battery.
  • Click the menu button.
  • Now, go to Battery optimization.
  • From the menu, select All apps.
  • Click the Spotify app.
  • Click Don’t optimize.

Solution #5 – Reinstall your Spotify App
