Spotify is a cool way to discover and listen to songs but is it also possible to view your play history? The answer is Yes. Spotify has a Play History feature that will let you rediscover songs you have recently played or listened to in the past.
We listen to hundreds of songs on Spotify and oftentimes, we forget the titles and albums we enjoyed before. With the Play History feature, you can go back and scan the list of songs you want to listen again.
The steps are easy and you can view your entire listening history with a few clicks on your Spotify app or web player. There are two ways to navigate to your play history, on desktop or on your mobile or tablet.
View Play History on Spotify for Desktop or Web Player

- On your Spotify main screen, go to the bottom right corner.
- You will see the burger icon. Tap Play Queue.
- At the top, click History. It will show you the last 50 songs played.
View Play History on Spotify App for Mobile or Tablet
- Go to the Now Playing screen on your Spotify app. You can see that at the bottom of your screen.
- At the bottom right corner, tap Play Queue.
View Recently Played Playlist on Spotify

From your home screen, swipe to your left. It will then show your Recently Played playlist. This will list down recent songs that you have played. It is a helpful feature when you forget the songs you have played the day before and want to add these tracks to a playlist.
That’s it! If you want to add a song or track, just right click on the track and click Add Queue. If you want to remove a track, also right click on the track and click Remove from Queue.
