With so many things we have to do each day, there is no need for us to waste time. Waking up at the right time each morning is essential for us to jumpstart our activities on the right track. Otherwise, your day starts with a delay, and everything will follow suit.
Having a reliable alarm clock is crucial. Your alarm clock can wake you up at the proper time. Still, what more could be efficient than having a smart alarm clock on your bedside. We are all accustomed to digital alarm clocks or using our phones to set the alarm. But, Google offers another efficient and smart way to do it. Now, you can use Google Home and Google Assistant as your smart alarm clock.
How Do I Set Google Assistant As My Alarm?

Let’s start with Google Assistant. When using Google Assistant as your alarm clock, you can choose the language you want to use. Google Assistant is available in the following languages:
- English
- German
- Spanish
- Danish
- Japanese
- French
- Dutch
- Swedish
- Norwegian
To set the alarm, ask Google Assistant, or you can swap down on the screen. If you want to change the settings of your alarm, go to the Smart Clock screen and swipe left. Select the alarm and edit based on the options available. You can change the sound or the routine.
If you want to change the volume of your alarm, you can ask the Google Assistant to increase or decrease the volume. You may also use the volume buttons on your device. Tap the Do not disturb option for silent notifications. You may also turn your microphone on or off.
Can Google Home Wake Me Up With Music?

Google Home devices allow you to make your smart alarms more interesting. If you are too tired of listening to the same alarm sound, or if your typical alarm sounds are no longer effective, you can ask Google to wake you up with music.
For instance, you can say, “Hey Google, set an alarm for 7 am that plays this music.” You may also ask Google to play any media or radio alarm for you. Google Home also enables you to review back alarms that are set so you can change them any time. You can say, “Hey Google, what alarms are set?“
Aside from waking you up in the morning, you can use your smart alarm to notify you of tasks like taking pills, calling someone, or reminding you of something you need to do. For example, you may say, “Hey Google, set an alarm at 3 pm for feeding the dog.“
Google Home and Assistant can help you set a nighttime and morning routine by adjusting different devices at home to help you wake up or sleep better. It has a Google Sleep timer with bedtime sounds for you to prepare to go to sleep.
