Steps to Completely Remove Microsoft 365 Copilot AI Interaction History and Chat Logs on Windows PC
Take note that you can only do the 1st method below if you signed in to your work or school account. If you are signed in to your personal account, follow the 2nd method.
Here’s the first method. Head over to Settings & Privacy and go to Privacy. Once there, select Data options and open Copilot interaction history. Choose Delete history and check the box next to Copilot for Microsoft 365. Click Delete.
Now for the second method. First, launch the privacy dashboard or go to https://account.microsoft.com/account/privacy. Sign in with your personal Microsoft account. Navigate to Manage your activity data and choose Browsing and search. Open the Copilot interaction history and click Clear all Copilot activity history and search history below. Click the Clear button.

Deleting your Copilot interaction history takes time as a deletion request will be sent first to Microsoft. Once your history is deleted, it will not affect the previous files where Copolit has made any changes included in the deleted history.
