File sharing has become easier and faster thanks to file sharing solutions. Now, Android is also making its mark in the file-sharing community with the launch of its new feature called Nearby Share. Users can transfer files from one device to another without the need for lengthy processes.

What is Android Nearby Share Feature?

If you want to transfer a file to a friend beside you, all it takes is a few taps on your Android phone and the transfer has been completed. Android’s Nearby Share feature enables users to transfer files using Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, or WiFi Direct. You can even share pictures using WebRTC, Ultra-Wideband, or even when you are offline.

If your receiver is within your proximity, you can quickly send a file and your receiver will be notified to accept or decline what you have sent.
